Design for elderly

I had a project where we were working with a specific target group throughout the semester. I chose the elderly as my target group, with a focus on creating a simpler everyday life for the elderly.

Part of the project was to let the users, through interviews and other data collections, lead me to two final solutions. The goal was to get an understanding of the target group, what experiences they have, what are they comfortable with, and how can we help them make their everyday life easier?

For my target group, it was especially the mobile phone that created problems in everyday life. Through several interviews and workshops, we finally designed a mobile they liked.
